Our process

Good work starts long before construction.

A thoughtful plan, clear decisions and coordinated trades make a difference at every stage. Here is how we bring your project from the first conversation to the finished space.

How we begin

Agree on the next phase before work begins.

The first conversation helps us understand your goals and identify the next step. Before project-specific investigation, detailed estimating, design coordination or other planning services begin, we agree on the scope, deliverables and fees in a signed pre-agreement. Construction follows a separate written agreement when the project is ready.

Working with Resolution

From the first idea to the final details.

You bring the goals. We help turn them into a practical plan and coordinate the work that follows.

  1. Listen and understand

Start with how you want the space to work, what is changing and what matters most. Discuss the property, budget expectations and timing, then outline the right next step.

  2. Investigate and plan

After the planning pre-agreement is signed, review the site, existing information and trade needs within that assignment. Coordinate measurements, drawings and specialist input, then review the findings and decisions with the owner.

  3. Develop the scope and selections

Bring construction pricing, design decisions, fixtures and finishes together. Review alternatives and agree on the work, responsibilities and purchasing plan.

  4. Prepare for construction

Coordinate permits, approved selections, product availability, trade schedules and access. Establish a working construction window around the readiness of the project.

  5. Build and keep you informed

Sequence the trades, track progress and coordinate inspections. Use Buildertrend to keep messages, photos, schedules and approvals connected. Review changes with you before changed work proceeds.

  6. Walk through and finish well

Review the work together, organize remaining items and coordinate closeout. Bring the relevant product information and project records together for the handoff.

The work behind the work

Your project, actively managed.

The finished space is the result of many connected decisions. We organize the people, information and sequence that bring them together.

  1. A plan the trades can build from

Bring the drawings, site conditions, product choices and trade scopes together. Resolve connections between framing, utilities, cabinetry and finishes before each phase.

  2. Decisions with context

Review choices alongside the budget and working schedule. When a change comes up, explain the options and their effects so you can make an informed decision.

  3. Communication you can follow

Use Buildertrend for project messages, schedules, photos, selections and approvals. Your project manager connects those decisions with the trades and the next work on site.

  4. A considered handoff

Coordinate inspections, walkthrough items, corrections and project records. Bring the remaining tasks into a clear closeout plan.

Our standard before construction

Selections first.
Construction follows.

Fixtures and finishes must be selected and approved before construction begins. We bring those choices together with the plans, scope, pricing basis, and procurement plan before opening the work area.

Why we hold that line.

A faucet affects the plumbing. An appliance affects cabinetry and electrical work. Tile thickness affects transitions. Resolving these connections early helps reduce rushed decisions, preventable rework, and avoidable interruptions in your space.

See what needs to be ready
Decisions become details

Choose it.
Approve it. Coordinate it.

A finish preference becomes useful construction information when the actual product, dimensions, compatibility, cost, and procurement responsibility are recorded. That is why fixture and finish approvals belong before physical construction.

A useful first conversation

Start at the stage you are in.

Tell us what is already decided, what information you have and where you need direction. We will identify the next phase and the work to authorize before it begins. Book a 30-minute Google Meet consultation on an available Friday.

Start with a conversation.

Start by telling us about your project. If the next step involves investigation, detailed estimating or planning, we define the services and fees in a signed pre-agreement before that work begins.
