From preparation to finished surfaces.
Entry flatwork, driveways, slabs and foundations. Explore the preparation, reinforcement and placement behind durable concrete work.
Foundation work in progress, with temporary protection at the house.
Driveway placement in progress, with temporary formwork still in place.

Start below the finished surface.
A successful concrete project starts with the intended loads, drainage and ground conditions. We coordinate removal, base preparation, reinforcement, placement and finish details around the way the surface will be used.
- Flatwork, slabs and foundations
Identify the walkway, patio, driveway, slab, or foundation scope, approximate dimensions, and intended use. Structural loads, design information, site conditions, and any required professional input must be established for the project.
- Removal and preparation
Specify demolition, disposal, excavation, base work, grading, forms, and any other preparation that is included.
- Placement and finish
Confirm dimensions, required design details, finish, joints, edges, and interfaces with existing construction in the project documents.
- Access and protection
Consider truck or pump access, staging, utilities, drainage, adjacent surfaces, curing, and when the area may be used.
Resolve the site and the pour before placement.
Confirm dimensions, elevations, intended use, finish, edges and the connection to existing surfaces. Identify demolition, excavation, base preparation, drainage, reinforcement and any required design or approvals in the written scope.
Plan truck and equipment access, protection, placement sequence and weather conditions with the project team. Follow the agreed curing and access instructions after placement. Color, texture and transitions to existing concrete should be discussed before the work is approved.
Before the concrete work begins.
Can I request concrete work without a larger remodel?
Yes. Tell us the location, intended use, approximate size, existing surface, and access conditions so we can discuss the appropriate next step.
How do you plan removal and site preparation?
We review the existing surface, access and intended use, then define removal, disposal, excavation, base preparation and drainage alongside the new concrete work.
How do you handle transitions to existing concrete?
We discuss finish, color, edges and joints before placement. Existing age and weathering are considered when planning how new and retained surfaces will meet.
Tell us what the surface must support.
Bring the location, approximate dimensions, intended use and photos of the existing area. We will discuss removal, drainage, preparation, finish and equipment access. Book a 30-minute Google Meet consultation on an available Friday.
Start with a conversation.
Start by telling us about your project. If the next step involves investigation, detailed estimating or planning, we define the services and fees in a signed pre-agreement before that work begins.
